Cauldron:
The couldron is a symbol of rebirth,renewal and plenty.It is used to brew potions,
burn incense or hold charcoal and herbs.Ideally,it should be made of iron and have three legs,
with the opening at the top smaller than the pot's widest part.

Chalice:
The chalice is a goblet or cup used to hold the wine shared around the Circle
of those participating in a ritual.

Charcoal:
In ritual,charcoal is often used for inscribing,and ceremonial incense is often burned
on a charcoal saucer.

Cloth:
Felt and velvet cloths of specific colours are used as a foundation on your alter,
and to contain charms and herbs that have been charged with power.

Essential Oils:
Due to their power to heal and help specific states of mind,essential oils have long
been part of magick.oils have many purposes and different oils are linked with different usages.

Familiar:
Wheather it be cat,dog,crow,frog or snake,animals can bring to a ritual which is lacking
in the spellcaster alone.In ritual,an animal can be used to facilitate links and super natrual forces.

Herbs:
Herbs and flowers are used for their powers of healing and attraction.
Different herbs coreaspond with different requirements.

Incense:
Incense comes in sticks,cones and powder with a variety of aromas from floral and herbal mixtures.
The incense burned depends on the purpose of each ritual,though frankincense is considered
to have many properties and be used for most spells.

Pen,Ink & Paper:
To help empower your spell,you sometimes need to write a list of your desires,or to write the name of the person
for whom you are preforming a spell.Try to use a quill or fountain pen,coloured inks and plain,unlined paper.

Robes:
Ritual robes are often worn by the spellcaster to enhance the effectiveness of the spell.
Usually resembling caftans or choir robes,they are best made from natrual materials-cotton,rayon and wool
that allow the skin to breath.Some Witches elect not to wear robes at all when spellcasting,
preferring instead to go "sky-clad" (Naked).

Talisman:
A drawn symbol or a constructed item that is chared with specific energies.The talisman can either
be worn as jewellery or carried on one's person,allowing its energy to exert a continual
and subtle influence on a holder.

Wand:
The wand is a stick anout 45cm (18 inches) long,carved from one of the traditionally considered
"sacred" woods and used to channel power.The wand is often decorated and carved in accordance
with the spellcasters beleifs.

Amulet:
Generally a small item made of natrual materials - wood,stone,shell or gems -
charged for the purpose of protection.Amulets are often ornate and can either be carried
in a pouch or worn as jewellery.

Athame:
A ritual knife or ceremonial sword,it is used to direct and control the energy of the spells
in a similar way to the wand.It should be made of silver to represent the moon.

Bell:
A bell or gong is often used in the early stages of Witchcraft to summon the power of the elements:
Earth,Air,Fire and water.Ringing the bell unleashes vibrations which can help send out your
message to the universe,as can the wafting smoke of incense.

Bolline:
A white-handled knife used for cutting, carving or inscribing things
(Such as candles,talismans etc) during the course of the ritual.
