Connection problems? Try these alternate ICQ servers

Having Trouble Connecting?
Like many ICQ users today, we have had considerable problems connecting on occasion.
This page may help you if you are having problems connecting.
Sometimes, the ICQ servers get too busy, not allowing
any more users online. The majority of ICQ users do not know that there are different servers you can try
in order to increase your chances of getting onto the ICQ network.
This page provides the addresses of the
additional ICQ networks. I have found that adding the extra servers, it has lessened my chances of being
disconnected.
ICQ 99b uses the same ICQ protocol (version 5) as ICQ99a and ICQ 98a and they use the same server
icq.mirabilis.com. There aren't any "ICQ 99b servers". This information is from Mirabilis ICQ support.
Steps to adding ICQ servers to the ICQ server list.
Below is a graphically illustrated demonstration of how to accomplish this. Even though these pictures are
not necessarily from the latest ICQ version, they should look very similar to or exactly like your ICQ.

These server addresses have been updated and some of the old server addresses that don't work anymore have
been removed. Each server *always* uses port 4000.

1. While online, go to the ICQ menu.
2. Selected Preferences from the menu.
3. Click the Servers tab on the dialog box.
